The Kilburn Surname

Every family has their skeletons; ours is far from the exception. For instance, technically we should be the Kilburn line rather than the Cosner line.
David Fuller Cosner was born to Anna Catherine Cosner, born in Virginia, and Jno. (most likely John or Jonathan) Kilburn, born in Arkansas. They were not married, so Dave grew up as a Cosner.
I can find absolutely nothing about a Jno., John, or Jonathan Kilburn who would be a likely candidate to be Dave's father and my great-great-grandfather. I continue to search. It took me years to learn as much as have about the Cosners. I can be relentless in the search.
